Anup Kumar is a Indian professional Kabaddi player. He was on the Indian national team. He is captain of the U Mumba team in the Pro Kabaddi League. 

Career Highlights:

• He was on the team that won gold in Asian games 2014 in Incheon. He was India's key to success for winning gold medal in the recently held Asian games in Incheon. In 2012, he was awarded the Arjuna Award for his achievements in the sport, by the Government of India.
  
• On 21st of November Mahindra & Mahindra presented Kumar with a Mahindra Thar as a token of appreciation.
  
• He is the Captain of [U Mumba], the [Mumbai] franchisee of Pro Kabaddi League.He is one of the highest bid players of the tournament.
