Shilpa Sharma, 14 years 3 months, Himachal Pradesh, Shilpa was walking to school with her younger brother, Anshul, when a leopard attacked him. When Shilpa saw him pinned to the ground, she screamed, hit the animal with her school bag and managed to pull Anshul from under it. She took her injured brother to the closest house and informed her parents; Anshul took a month to recover. That was the first time she’d seen a leopard.
