All parents of pupils at St Mary's are automatically members of the St Mary's School Association.
The School Association (PTA) Committee are a group of parent and teacher volunteers working to raise extra funds for the school. We meet once a term and new members are always welcome.
Our aim is to enhance the school experience of the children of St Mary's by supporting requests from teaching staff and the Pupil School Council with additional items whether subject specific (history, french etc), for the sports department, the playground or contributions towards trips. Every request is considered and nearly all fulfilled!
We organise several events throughout the year ranging from termly discos for the children to the annual Christmas Market and Summer Fair plus a few additional social evenings in between (ie Bingos, Artsreach music or theatrical events), and always require extra volunteer helpers at these events.
