RAJA MADHUSUDAN DEV DEGREE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE & EDUCATION was established in the Academic Session of 1993-94 by the local people interested in educational change and quality higher education at an affoardable cost and within thier reach. Situated at Patia, near Patia railway station, Bhubaneswar, the College bears the uprising looks of New Bhubaneswar at North which becomes an important Educational Hub of our state and the capital city in particular.
This Co-Educational College offers Degree (+3) Education in Arts with 128 seats and Commerce with 64 seats. The College is recognised permanently by the Government of Orissa and affiliated permanently to Utkal University,Vani Vihar.
This year (2013-14), our college completes its 20 years. The institution of Excellent Learning catches the imagination of local guardians, students, authorities and newly growing residential sectors around the college. Though the college is in its developing stage, it has made much headway over the years and it is striving hard to emerge as one of the prestigious institutions in Bhubaneswar. Inspite of being non-receipient of any government grant, the present infra growth and vigour has been possible due to the contribution by the students, the Donors from the poorest of poor and rich ones of the locality, the generous from time to time.
The College is being managed by the Govt. approved Governing Body of its own with guidance from the Director, Higher Education, Govt. of Orissa. The Present student strength is 600 with 14 Teaching Staff and 8 Non-Teaching Staff.
