About Institution

Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya at Haripal, Hooghly had been affiliated to the Burdwan University in terms of the University communication No. I/C/2067/66 dated 08.08.1966 w.e.f. the 1966-67 academic session.

Vision

To make a self and external qualities evaluation center in higher education.
To encourage self-evalution, accountabilities, autonomy and innovations in higher education.
To arrange the facilities of SC/ST/PH and minorities group for higher education.
To promote our Institution as a center of Postgraduate studies, Research works, Consultancy and offer Training Programme of different Competetive Examination for job opportunities.
Generating interest in Games and Sports, NCC, NSS etc.
Integrating the Institution with the society by developing a sense of interdependence among both.

Mission

The mission of the institution from the beginning has been ‘AtmanamViddhi’ i.e. ‘know thyself’.
