Al-Falah School of Engineering & Technology (AFSET) established in 1997 is endeavor of Al-Falah Charitable Trust in keeping with the approach for professional education training and guidance. The emphasis is on nurturing technical talent by providing need based education and to create a resource pool for developing cutting edge technologies for the country. This technical talent would enrich the national fabric and shall act as a driving force for transforming India into a technical savy nation. With this vision both the colleges have excelled in imparting quality education and have developed into premier engineering Institutes with emphasis on promoting suitably trained technical manpower at the regional as well as national level for meeting the challenges faced by global corporate world of today. Our curricula and teaching methods are innovative and distinctly oriented towards competitiveness, keeping an eye on global environment of business and industry. We emphasize on strong personality development of the students to cope with the fast changing technology. A distinct feature of our academic prorgramme is the focus on the industrial needs of the country. The students are exposed to an optimal blend of analytical and practical knowledge enriched by industrially oriented training and project work. Ever increasing expectations cannot be fulfilled without the gift of modern day technology. It is therefore imperative that, today, the sustenance and growth of any industry depend upon its ability to cater to the demands through persistent change and development of its offered products. This can only happen with a thorough understanding of modern technology and its engineering solutions. Information Technology is revolutionizing and impacting all walks of life. It’s software that is enabling traditional professions, which are undergoing the maximum change. It’s software use that open limitless possibilities and accuracy in manufacturing and design. We organise additionals courses in the areas of current interest such as Auto-CAD, CM, CATIA, UNIGRAPHICS, Pro-E etc. apart from the syllabus. The faculty at any College constitutes Mech. its core academic resource. The faculty of both the colleges pride on its accessability to the students and its Inventor commitment to teaching excellence. The criteria for appointment, retention, tenure and promotion are designed to attract the best caliber and motivate people who continuously strive to enhance the knowledge and teaching effectiveness. In addition, guest teachers from industry, government organisations and other institutes like Delhi College of Engineering, IIT Delhi, MIT Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, NTPC etc. are also invited to interact with the students and the faculty. The students are guided by the teachers during industrial visits. AFSET have the policy of encouraging faculty members to contribute in seminars, workshops, conferences and research activities.
