About Institution

The college is affiliated to Sambalpur University. It was established in the year 1967 with teaching facilities in Arts & Science at the Higher Secondary (+2) and Degree (+3) stage.
Dr. Ayodhya Nath Khosla, Ex-Governor of Orissa in defference to the wishes of his wife had established this college at Rourkela in collaboration with D.A.V. Trust in the year 1967. It is well known that Mrs. Khosla donated a sum of rupees one lakh selling her ornaments which was deposited with the Sambalpur University to start this college. As such, her name was retained when this college was taken over by the Government of Orissa on 1.2.1989.
