St. Stephen’s School, Hazaribagh is a Mission School; It is a co-educational English Medium Residential School. This School was established in year 1991, it was founded by the Late Mr. Clement John Nandy, Retd. Executive Engineer, B.S.E. Board. Sri Clement John Nandy had a dream to open a school which would be beneficial to all section of society. He was dedicated to his work and put his whole heart and soul into realizing his dream. He was a father figure for everyone in the school, He was very helpful and was patient in his dealing with all.

His reassuring figure is missed by the St. Stephen’s family. The school will continue its Endeavour in educating the student of this school and making them good citizens of our country. Mr. Clement John Nandywas the secretary of the school from 1991till may 2000. This school is centrally located in the D.U.Mission Compound in Hazaribagh. The healthy atmosphere of the school contributes towards the all round development of the child, The school offers a good and sound education to the students.
