Sri Sowbackiya College of Education, Ariyalur is a co-education institution sponsored by V.A.Rathina Mudhaliar Bakkiyavathi Ammaal Education & Charitable Trust, with the able Guidance of the Managing Trustee, Rm.B.Shanmuhanathan. The institute was established in 2009. The college is recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu and approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Sri Sowbackiya College of Education in various department. The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
