About Institution

Our Polytechnic College was started in the Academic Year 2000 - 2001 under the Trust Name of "ELUMALAIYAN EDUCATIONAL TRUST". "Vidya Ratna", Dr.M.Senthilnathan, M.Sc., M.Phil, P.hD., is our Honourable Chairman of our Polytechnic College. Tmt.S.Manjula Senthilnathan, M.A., MBA., is our Polytechnic Correspondent. Mr.K.Ravi, DCE., is Secretary of our Polytechnic.

Initially we started this Polytechnic College with Three DISCIPLINES VIZ., MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING, and later added Electrical & Communication Engineering, CIVIL ENGINEERING and AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING.

We conduct Certificate Course in Computer Application for SC and ST Students under "TAHADCO SCHEME" under the supervision of Directorate of Technical Education,
Chennai - 25.

We also conduct Certificate Courses in technical and need based fields. Canada - India International Co-operation projects - CIICP are also conducted.

Campus interviews are organized by inviting various companies for the placement of the students for jobs. It fulfills dual purposes, one for students securing their future career, another for the industry securing the best fresh talents available in the region.
