RVS Academy instituted by the RVS Educational Trust in March 2001 has in its brief span attained the status of one of the most progressive quality educational institution of Jamshedpur. The Chairman of the School, Mr. Binda Singh has set a lofty aim to nurture brotherhood and scientific temper in students and make them achievers in real life. Mr. Bharat Singh the secretary of the school endeavours to provide the best resources so as to reach the ideals of personal, professional and social excellence. Mr. Shatrughna Singh the Executive Member of the school committee provides the best electronic and technological platform to the activities of the school. The principal of the school, Mrs. Veena Talwar provides every opportunity to the teachers to improve effectiveness in teaching methods and professional standards of teachers by conducting as well as organizing regular in-service training sessions for them.
After the establishment the school has been continuously striding towards excellence. In context with the number of students, from a humble beginning with 35 students and 3 teachers, today we have more than 2600 students and 90 teachers partaking educational activities. Its constant efforts have produced results which are not far to seek. Today R.V.S Academy ranks among the best schools in the city(Jamshedpur).

Our school aims to provide value based education with innovative teaching and learning methods so that our students grow up in to aesthetically reach intellectually aware and completely responsible individuals who will be capable of fulfilling their dreams and strengthen the society. We intend to, with our educational process to be the cutters who polish raw stones into glittering multi-faceted diamonds.

Mission

Our Mission is to develop our students in such a way that they achieve excellence in all fields and become useful citizens of our country India. In other words, teachers at R.V.S Academy are not concerned only with imparting academic knowledge, but also teach the students how to lead a better social and moral life. We aim to help a child realize his/her own inherent strength and give him/her a conducive environment to grow and evolve as a good social being. The ethical values which the teachers inculcate in the students mould their character impacting their lives positively. Moreover, Knowledge is imparted in such a way that it creates an urge for education. Students are made to understand that education is a very important part of their lives. In fact the school is an extension of their home because they find the teachers loving and caring.
