The Rotary Public School is an English medium co-educational institution of Angul,Orissa, came into existence in the year 1974 as a result of the efforts of the membersof Rotary Club of Angul pursuant to their objective of ideal social service to thecommunity. The school was installed with the unanimous decision of the members
when the town was at its infancy of industrial development and there was very little scope for English medium education.The school was established with the ultimate objective of enabling the pupils to attain their best selves and making them useful members of society. Keeping this ultimate aim in view, the school works to provide the best education, training and opportunity to the future citizens of the country.The School is all embracing, the second home of the children, secure and belonging.We instill into them a system of values and discipline through play with exposure to information. The medium of instruction is English. The school provides subjects as per the norms of the C.B.S.E. as well as conducts the examinations as perthe guideline received from CBSE from time to time. Our success in creating a democratic atmosphere in class room learning emanates from our collective endeavour to impart stress free, pragmatic & child centered techniques of teaching-learning. The school has adopted drawing, clay modeling and painting as an open window medium for our young art lovers & giving special focus indoor & outdoor games, Karate & Yoga, dance, music & co-curricular activities such as debate, elocution, extempore speech, quiz, essay writing & many other like feature added to it.
