About Institution

The foundation stone was laid down on 01-07-2007 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Late Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy garu.The APHMIDC., Govrnment of Andhra Pradesh have under taken the construction of RIMS.,Ongole and entrusted the construction work to M/s LANCO Infrastructure, Hyderabad vide Letter no.216/APHMHIDM/DEE-2/AEE-3/2007-08/5863;5864 and 5865 Dated 26-12-2007.The erstwhile District Headquarters Hospital, Ongole with 200 beds was taken over under the administrative control of Director,RIMS, Ongole from 01-10-2008 and shifted to New RIMS premises at Bhagya nagar with 300 beds
