About Institution

Prasad Institute of Technology has been established in 2002 by Prasad Educational Trust with an aim to impart excellent technical education in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy & management. The institute insists on developing students into efficient technocrats in their selected pursuits by guiding them to build their insights abilities and way of right thinking. It is a major breakthrough in a highly dense and technically backward region of eastern UP.The aim of the institute is to make the region competitive with other part of the country by contributing to better socio-economic growth.

The institute is approved by AICTE, Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh and affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow formerly known as UPTU, Lucknow. The institute is situated on the bank of river Gomti, 5 km away from Jaunpur city on Azamgarh Road and is spread over an area of 40 Acre. Jaunpur is 60 km from Varanasi and 100 km from Allahabad.
