Nowgong is town of Chhatarpur District, northern Madhya Pradesh state. Nowgong is well connected by road. It is situated on the national highway No.75 about 110 kms away from Jhansi and just 23 kms from Chhatarpur. The nearest railway station is Harpalpur, 30 kms away and nearest airport is Khajuraho, 68kms away.Nowgong Polytechnic College formerly known as Govt. Polytechnic College Nowgong was established on 2nd oct.1952. The College campus is spread in an area of 14 hectares. This college enjoys the crowning glory of being the first polytechnic college of Bundelkhand region. Currently we are offering five diploma courses in affiliation with Rajiv Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya Bhopal. These diploma courses are also approved by AICTE NEWDELHI.
