Oxford English School, Patan was established as co-educational school under CBSE affiliation in the year 2006 for their education from Nursery to class XII under one roof. It was proud moment for the school when it became the first non- granted CBSE affiliated school of Patan District. School shall have its XI standard under Science and Commerce stream from the session beginning April 2012. At present there are about 60 staff members and 685 students taking education under CBSE CCE program.Being an English medium school, English is taught as a first language, Hindi second language and Gujarati as third language.
The vision extends beyond the narrow walls of classroom and textbooks, as it aims to give the students a truly global perspective while preparing them for the careers of tomorrow. In addition, the focus at OXFORD will be on inculcating life skills such as writing, public speaking, making presentations, personal grooming, working in teams etc. with an emphasis on the application of the knowledge to everyday situations.
