About Institution

Founded in 1996 by Syt. Om Prakash Jindal Ji, the O.P. Jindal School, Raigarh (OPJS, Raigarh), patronized by Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, Raigarh, has from its beginning been dedicated to educational transformation in the society. A post-graduate from the University of Texas, Mr. Naveen Jindal, our inspiring Chairman, mentor, multifarious business baron, sportsman and illustrious industrialist, is always keen in improving the educational standards of the society wherever his business is established.The sprawling 31 acres campus, nurtured inch-by-inch and set amidst lush green environment, is located close to JSPL, Raigarh. With a hardworking and dedicated team of 300 staff members, the CBSE affiliated school caters to around 5000 students at present, has received the ISO 9001:2008 Certification from IRQS (RvA), proudly received prestigious awards like International School Award (2012-15) from the British Council, National Progressive Schools' Conference (NPSC) membership, All India Rank #1 in NCFE-NFLAT Exam for promoting Financial Literacy among students and Green Campus Award, 2013, from e-India.Our philosophy of education has always been meeting the needs of the individual child.
