About Institution

Muruga Polytechnic College was founded by the bountiful and noble hearted philanthropist of the JRV & MMS trust in the year 1998, certified by State and Central Government. It is located at Melur, 8 kms away from Kallakurichi on the Salem – Chennai highways. The college is located in landscape area of nearly 21 acres. The philanthropist of this institution will endeavour to give rich Technical Education in the delicate minds of rural pupils. This institution will endeavor to spread the spirit of Dr.M.Visveswaraya’s rich ideals through the soft-hearted ones brought under their guidance. We feel proud in giving priority to Discipline, Perseverance and well advanced Technical Education.
We have good looking infrastructure and properly maintained advanced laboratories. Having students totally from rural areas like Kallakurichi, Chinnasalem, Sankarapuram, Kachirayapalayam, Thirukovilur & Elavanasurkottai. Our college has been achieving 100% results to shape best engineers in every year. Our achievement during past 12 years in all level is really milestone. Well experienced Principal, Lecturers and Physical Directors are maintaining priority to discipline and technical education to frame the students.
