K.L.D.A.V.(P.G.) College Roorkee is a leading Post Graduate institution affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar (Uttarakhand). The college has attained great heights under the able guidance and leadership of Prof. Gopal Ranjan, the EX-Vice Chancellor of University of Roorkee (Now IIT, Roorkee) who is the President of the College Management Committee. With qualified faculty members, it is excelling in teaching and research in Science and Education. The College had been accredited with Grade B in Science and B+ in Education by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2004. Roorkee is situated about 172 km north of New Delhi on the National Highway 58. The holy city of Ganges, Haridwar is just 30 km from Roorkee and the well known shrine of Sabir Saheb, Piran Kaliyar is only 7km from here.
