Established in the year 1986, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanjikode, Palakkad caters to the educational needs of the children of the floating population like the employees of Central Government Offices, Defense Personnel, Ex-servicemen and other employees liable for frequent transfers.The sprawling campus is spread over 8.6 acres of land provided by the sponsors, the Instrumentation Ltd., Kanjikode about 12 km from Palakkad.
