JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA Kajra, Jhunjhunu a co-educational residential school under the Ministry Of Human Resource & Development established in 1994, a village in Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) was blessed with a temple of education where the students of this comparatively less educated belt could get a quality of education for their career formation and all round development of their personality. The name of the temple is Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kajra which today draws the attention of all for its healthy environment and excellent education in various fields.

The Vidyalaya was established under the National Policy on Education, 1986 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India through an Autonomous Body, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. It's a co-educational residential setup. With just 14 years of history behind it, has proved its worth by preparing the young, brilliant and talented students academically, physically and mentally to be the good and useful citizens of tomorrow. It is growing by leaps and bounds. The past few years have witnessed unprecedented achievements in the annuals of the Vidyalaya. It is not only achieving targets in various fields but also retaining them. It looks forward to forge ahead to achieve its aspirations fully and completely in the times to come. The result of the Vidyalaya is always excellent in academics. Many students take part in S.G.F.I. in field of sports. It has well maintained grounds for all the games. It has got special recognition in cultural activities at regional Level. The Vidyalaya has the most beautiful campus. It is a facilitating Vidyalaya in all the aspects. It has a well equipped Computer Lab consisting of 34 computers with multimedia support, Internet. It has well equipped labs of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Junior Science & Geography. There is sufficient availability of water and electricity in this Vidyalaya.
