Jain Kanya Pathshala Snatakottar Mahavidyalaya (J.K.P.P.G.) College, Meerut Road, Muzaffarnagar (U.P.), a prestigious institution of north India has gradually evolved from a small primary school into a Post-Graduate College, crossing the various stages of becoming a High School in 1953, an Intermediate College in 1958, a Degree College in 1963. The Kanya Pathshala ultimately attained the status of PG College in 1985. Due to the intense labour and devotion of the management and staff, this institution is recognized as one of the distinguished colleges of C.C.S University. One of the foremost reasons that accord the college this position is its academic performance. Here the pass percentage of the students has always been very high. Almost every year students secure positions in the university merit list. Students have also earned laurels in the fields of sports, debate and cultural activities at the university and state levels .Besides, efforts are also made to encourage the students to pursue the ideals of simplicity and hard work.

The College provides education in three subjects and two subjects, M.Com. (self-finance) for the post-graduate degree besides providing facility for research work .At the under graduate level classes are held for B.A. and B.Com. (self- finance ).In the near future the institution is bound to make further progress as efforts are on to introduce more disciplines and courses at various levels.
