About Institution

The Govt. College of Physical Education for Women, Dinhata was established in 1985 whence its 1st academic session started from October, 1985, and affiliated to the University of North Bengal and also reorganized by the N.C.T.E. in 2007.

Gradually this institution had its own land and created the administrative building with multipurpose conditioning hall, athletic ground, good looking national level basketball ground.

Sports laboratory, Library, conference hall, computer laboratory, classroom with modern furniture and other required facilities. Overall environment of our institution is very good with all facilities as per education guide lines

This Institution is one among the four colleges of its fully run by education Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal
