About Institution

This institution was established in 1960 with four faculties like DEE,DCE,DME and DMETE. Subsequently, the AICTE New Delhi has approved two more courses of DAE and DECE totally six courses are being run with I and II Shifts. As about 1000 Students are studying both day scholars and hostelers. Sufficient Teaching and Non-Teaching staff are also available for smooth running of this institution some of the Contract Lecturers were also appointed to attend II Shift classes by the Regional Joint Director of Technical Education, Kakinada.

Regarding the Scholarships Government is kind enough to the SC/ST & EBC students for exempting Tuition and Special fees for those parental annual income is less than Rs.1,00,000/-. As such no Tuition Fee & Special fees are collected from the eligible SC/ST and EBC students for the year 2008-09. Most of them have come under purview of scholarship holders.
