About Institution

Govt. Polytechnic, Bhaga, Dhanbad earlier known as Mining Institute Bhaga (estd. in 1905) is under the administrative control of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand is unique in its own kind. Initially this institute was made exclusive for mining technician. Now it is imparting diploma in Mining Engineering and Computer Engineering. The Institute has track record of producing quality engineers who served the industries and other fields with great honour and dignity.
