Govt First Grade College in Holenarasipura, is one of the prestigious institution situated in the Hassan District of, Karnataka. It is located on the banks of river Hemavati surrounded by thick and beautiful trees which a sounds like a modern ashram. GFGC caters to the educational needs of rural and disadvantaged sections of the society. It comes in to being in 1980 with the moderate strength. Since its inception the college has been providing access to higher education predominantly to rural sector. It succeeded in equipping the students with all those skills required for achieving excellence and help and support to translate their dreams into reality.
