About Institution

Gandhi Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) is a professionally managed National Level B-School, affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology & approved by AICTE, New Delhi,Accredited by NAAC with an annual intake of 120 students. The Institute is a part of Gandhi Group of Institute which is having of Engineering, Dental, Computer Science, M.Tech branch of engineering.It has one campus in Gunupur & five campuses at Bhubaneswar. Since inception, GIMS has been known for its flagging zeal for excellence in education & ethics.Its MBA programme has helped the students to build on modern concepts in management thinking in practical settings at the work place. The Institute started in 2001 and situated in Southern Orissa, is placed within a vast & well planned campus stretching up to 62 acres.
GIMS belives that true Management Education is not just in providing the student with better academic inputs but in developing compentence and refinig individuals into better leaders, who can aspire to be successful both on their professional as welll as their personal fronts. GIMS has attracted students from North to South & East to West within India & from neigboring countries like Nepal, Bhutan etc. Now GIMS is going international. The institute also planning to go for PGDM in Agribusiness & Rural Management & Retail Management in near future. Gunupur has a rich cultural heritage and has secured a significent position in the educational map of Orissa since the beginning of the country. Presently it boast of two-degree colleges, two MCA colleges and six high schools apart from GIET, GICS, GIBS and GIMS promoted by us. Then there are a host of computer training and coaching institutes. In short, the atmosphere is absolutely conductive to learning away from the din and bustle of city life.
