About Institution

G Madegowda Institute of Technology (GMIT) is one of the premier institutions started in the year 2011 with CSE,EEE,ECE,Civil and Mechanical branches by Bharathi Education Trust (BET), Bharathinagar. Since then, it has grown with time. At present, the institution runs 5 under graduate courses in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and 2 post graduation courses in Master of Technology (M.Tech) with an annual intake of about 425 students.The institution began with the mission of preparing the young generation for "Integration & Prosperity". Today more than seven hundred students are studying in this institute & they are guided by more than 50 well qualified & experienced faculty members who work to integrate the mission of the college by their teaching & training methods. The college has adopted "Knowledge is Empowering" as its theme & all the programs are focused on this theme.G Madegowda Institute of Technology (GMIT) has taken a leading role to uphold the entrepreneurial culture in Mandya District. To motivate & guide young entrepreneurs, by giving consultancy & supporting services.GMIT is located in Bharathinagar,Mandya, Karnataka which is a near to district Head Quarters, at a distance of about 90 km from Banglore on SH-17 .
