About Institution

ETCM- Hospital established in 1910, Dr. Margrate Lewis is the Founder of E.T.C.M. Hospital. The school of nursing was started in 1912, two years after the Hospital establishment Miss Martha Griffin, Founder of the School of Nursing. The College of Nursing was established 2004. This institution is named in memory of missionary ELLEN THOBURN who had been very active in promoting missionary work and bulwark of strength to missionaries in India.
Development of the hospital and the school of nursing engineered by the able, God fearing and loving Medical and Nursing Superintendents, Dr. E. Sheomaker and Miss. Ruby Hobson respectively. They may consider architects of these two Institutions. Being a Christian Institution our motto is "Serve one another with Love".
The ETCM School and college of nursing is an educational institution of the Methodist church in India. Students come to us from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharastra & Gujarat state. Majority of our graduates of this institute are serving positions of responsibility all over India, Middle East, Canada, European countries, Malaysia and USA.
