The Educational Agenda 2013-2018 is a planning tool that prioritizes education policy emphasizes the quality assurance proposed in the National Education Plan 2024. It is aligned to the National Development Plan 2013-2018 and the various international declarations and conventions on the right to education and global commitments by the government.

It also defines the implementation strategy pointing out the areas of intervention, objectives, programs, initiatives and goals, as well as the action lines and main activities, funding and evaluation that will contribute to the improvement of the conditions and processes enable a quality education for all. In turn, it is an instrument of guidance and management of the processes of educational management at the central, departmental and institutional level.

Mission:

Ensure all people, throughout his life, a quality education as a public good and fundamental human right.

Objectives:

Develop, implement and optimize the educational reform at all levels and forms of education.

Optimize the use of resources MEC

Improve the competence of human resources.

Develop and implement a quality management system.

Achieving effective internal and external communication levels.

Promote the development of decentralization processes.

Encourage and develop educational programs, scientific and technological research.

Manage financial and technical programs, national and international cooperation.

Promote the use of social media for education.

Improving the implementation of monitoring processes, monitoring and evaluation throughout the system.
