About Institution

The Institute was established by His Excellency Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil, the Governor of Bihar with the aim of providing education in all fields, thus spreading education to deserving students and thereby helping them to realize their dreams of a career in professional courses. The Institute is located on 40 acres of land at Ambi, adjoining the town of Talegaon Dabhade, in Pune District in the State of Maharashtra, India. It is about 40 kms from Pune and about 140 kms from Mumbai. It is well connected by road and railways. Lohegaon – Pune is the nearest airport.

Talegaon is home to many multinational companies and agro-based units such as General Motors, JCB, POSCO, INA Bearings etc., . It is also a home to the thriving poultry belt, largest in Asia in terms of broiler birds per square mile. Talegaon is well known for its beautiful climate. It is a beautiful town with lush green surroundings and Sahyadri Ranges around it. Indrayani and Pavana are the major rivers flowing in Talegaon and it also has various lakes all around the place. It is extremely well connected to two major cities in India, Pune, Mumbai .
