Sheikh khalifa bin zayed al nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates has declared 2016 as the Year of Reading in the UAE. It is to create a generation of book lovers and consolidate the UAE’s position as a global capital for culture and knowledge. Its motive is to promote reading among Emirati generations.
