About Institution

DAV Public School, SECL, Chhal was set up on 1ST July 1995 after a joint agreement between DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and SECL Enterprise. As per the agreement, the school structure is a composite, co-educational Senior Secondary School in English Medium from Class LKG leading to Class XII on public school lines in a phased manner. The school is directly governed and controlled by DAV CMC, New Delhi however the day-to-day management of the school including financial control vests with the Local Managing Committee. The school is affiliated with CBSE New Delhi(Aff No. 3330034, School Code - 03375).Currently the school is going through the Nineteenth Academic session, which started from 24th March 2014 and will complete on 23rd March 2015. Class XI & XII are running both in Science (Medical / Non Medical) & Commerce Stream. There are 28 sections in all with the Students’ Strength 854 during the session 2014-15. Being a project school, run by SECL, Raigarh Area, the project is providing all amenities like water, electricity, Furniture, Science equipment, sports materials, library books etc. The Project meets 100% deficit as per the Agreement to run the School.

We must develop goodwill, patience and forbearance. In these days of increasing specialization and growing material ailments, a recovery of faith in the ultimate spiritual values is essential. It is the only way to develop one’s inward resources. We, at our School, lay stress on religious education and imbibe knowledge and culture in our children to make them understand that what is seen on the surface of history is the fruit of a deep rooted plant, drawing its sustenance from hidden sources of spirit. If the roots of a tree get dried up, it can not yield any fruit. We perform Yajna and Community Prayers for the perfection of souls and restoration of peace at Global level.
