About Institution

Carmel school, civil lines, Gorakhpur is an English Medium Educational Institution established in 1941 by the Sister of the apostolic Carmel. The school is established and advised by the Carmel sadan Society, with its head office in Lucknow.
Our School obtained Provisional Affiliation from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi on 5th August 2005. The school obtained Minority Rights Certificate on 24th May 2007.

The vision of Carmel school is based on the principles that all children have the right to test their potential including development of physical, social, emotional, spiritual, moral and intellectual skills needed for the upliftment of the society.
Students should learn to accept and take responsibilities towards their Community, Country, and world to themselves and understand and appreciate the reality of life.
