About Institution

This Institute was started in the year 2004 with a clear vision to impart technical knowledge par excellence, motivate the learners in research, evolve result-oriented, innovative techniques in engineering, provide necessary guidance and train our learner in leadership qualities.
Calcutta Institute of Technology (ClT) has emerged out in the field of technological education with greater ambition to cater to the need of quality education in the field of Bio-oriented technology. This Institute has the special advantage of having a golden triangle with three important corners, Computer Science & Electronics, Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Technology.
This is again subdivided into computer based technological courses like Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. The institute a cosmopolitan environment, qualified faculty, sophisticated equipments, modern library with documentation facility, indoor and outdoor games and cafeteria. The Institute is located by the side of National Highway (NH-6) and Uluberia Railway Station and can be reached within 45 minutes to one hour from Megacity Kolkata. CIT has a sprawling campus with 33 acres of institutional land, surrounded by lust green landscape.
