It is a fact that in many critical sectors, huge subsidy is given in many developed countries. These are well meant and targeted for the poor. The question is to what extent this is reaching the beneficiaries. To look into such cases, an analytical study was necessary. We started first with the US, the EC, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. With China’s entry in WTO, the field is wide open.
