B.E.T. Polytechnic was started in the year 1986.lt is recognised by the Govt. of Karnataka. It is also approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Students are taught Computing skills, Mathematics and Engineering Drawing. The Polytechnic is equipped with state-of-the-art computer labs and workshops. Teaching is practical oriented and students gain hands-on experience.

To provide value based Higher Education to rural students at a very affordable cost, so as to make them responsive to the needs of the society and to make them useful citizens imbibing Gandhian Principles.
