The AMC Dental College, run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Medical Education Trust (AMC-MET) is spread in sprawling, green campus area of more than 5 acres of land in the heart of the beautiful city of AHMEDABADThe foundation of this institute was laid by our honorable Chief Minister SHRI NARENDRA MODI in February 2009 and hospital building was inaugurated by him on June 2011. This DENTAL COUNCIL OF INDIA (DCI) approved institute has been founded under the wings of AMC-MET which also has NHL medical college and AMC MET medical college affiliated with it and is associated with one of the oldest university of Ahmedabad, GUJARAT UNIVERSITY. This eco-friendly college building is beautifully designed, specially keeping in mind the wonderful ecology and the enviornment surrounding it. The building has large corridors and windows which is based on the "Green Building Concept" of Architecture. The college boasts of 100 admissions every year with curriculum spanning 4 years with 1 year compulsory rotary internship. The college is situated in the heart of the city, therefore we witness considerable patient OPD-Outpatient department (Flow) on regular basis from in and around the city, due to which our students derive considerable advantages in terms of patient exposure and clinical experience. We have provided for in-house accommodation in terms of hostel facility for the students as and when he/she requires the same. Library facility with huge collection of journals and referral texts along with spacious reading area also provide for the student’s benefits.This institute is committed for nurturing and providing suitable environment for the complete growth and development of the students who are part of this esteemed institute
