Mar Elias College Kottapady is one of the emerging colleges in Kerala. It is situated in Ernakulam district near Kothamangalam in Kottappady. Mar Elias College Kottapady is a first grade institution of higher education with job oriented graduate and post graduate courses. It is affiliated to MG university Kottayam and approved by Government of Kerala. Within a short span of time the college established itself as one of the leading institutions in Kerala. Well qualified and dedicated faculty is the real asset of this institution. Prof. C. M Baby, the principle of the college, is highly qualified and well experienced person.Kalkkunnel Mar Geevarghese Sahada Church, Kottappady initiated the idea of starting a higher education institution in the village. It was materialized by starting Mar Elias College, Kottappady in the year 2006. College is managed by the director board consisting of selected members from the managing committee of church. The mode of the admission is 50 % seats for every students are on the basis of the centralized allotments from the MG university and the remaining 50 % is on the management quota.
