Government Recognized: The Institute is recognized by AICTE, Ministry of HRD and all the courses are affiliated to MTU, Noida (formerly UPTU, Lucknow). The institute is also ISO 9001: 2008 Certified.
Location: The Institute is spread in 15 acres of land at the National Highway-24, and is well connected to the Ghaziabad city, Railway stations and Bus terminals. It lies in NCR, which, needless to say, offers much more job opportunities compared to any other place in India. It has been aesthetically designed as a pollution free campus.
Infrastructure: The Institute is having well equipped classrooms, well stocked digital library with over 16,000 books in various disciplines, more than 1000 CDs & Cassette and 300 project reports. It also subscribes 100 Indian and foreign Journals and 20 magazines covering all aspects of academic studies and research material. The hi-tech labs act as ideal training grounds for budding professionals that allow students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory.
Apart from the various splendid labs, a language lab meant exclusively for improving the communication skills with the latest multimedia facilities is available. Virtual Instrumentation lab provides standard Instrumentation software for all kinds of measurements and automations in academic research and industrial practice. Many industrialists also find these labs useful for their development work.
Facilities: Hundreds of students from all across the country live in VITS Hostels, which come closest to being 'a home away from home'. The separate facilities for boys and girls, caring wardens and a tight security. Each Hostel is having its own separate Gym.
The institute has its own cafeteria which caters the students need with well prepared and hygienic food with most reasonable prices.
Transport facility for pick and drop is available for students coming from Ghaziabad, Delhi and Noida.
A medical facility with reputed team of Doctors and Nurses is also available in campus, in times of need.
