This college Is promoted, owned and managed by Ezhuthachan Educational Society for Human Resource Development which is registered under the Travancore cochin literary Scientific charitable society act ( Reg No : 1048/2001 ). The college is the fulfillment of a long cherished ambition of our Ezhuthacan community.We have a glorious past in education and learning. Probably we are the only one community in the whole of India with teaching as a a hereditary calling. Our college started functioning from the academic year 2003-2004 on 01.10.2003 under the name Thunchath Ezhuthachan College of management, information technology with two high profile courses:- B.Com with computer application, B.Sc Information Technology.

The name was changed to THUNCHATH EZHUTHACHAN COLLEGE in 2005-2006.Our aim is to provide high quality, job oriented higher education & training programmes, research and consultancy services. Our college is a self financing Arts & Science college affiliated to the university of Calicut .we are planning to set up a Law college in our campus, the first ever in Palakkad District. We visualize a bright and challenging career for our youngsters. In this age of globalization, our youth should be equipped to face the challenges of the information age. Achieving competitiveness is the key to success. Our plan is to provide our student with excellent infrastructure for personality development . Since our students lack proper exposure, we are envisaging an academic tie up with nationaly and internationally reputed institutes like IIT’s & IIM’s .our aim is to develop the institution into an internationally acclaimed autonomous business school.

Success in every field depends upon the quality of leadership we provide. Fortunately we have a team of talented as well as dedicated faculty members, management experts, And successful entrepreneurs. That is our prime asset. Our college Is situated in a valued locality between Nenmara and Kollamkode on the main road.the plot is on the right side of Thrissur-Pollachy highway.
