Surajmal Laxmidevi Sawarthia Educational Trust, a non-profitable society managing SLSET group of Institutions is named as a humble tribute to a great “Yogi Saint Swami Satyaprakashanand Saraswati Ji”, a noble selfless pious soul. The path shown by this Godly Saint is a beacon light for the management of the SLSET Group of Institutions. It is founded in 2008 and the college has demonstrated perennial evidence of merit and quality by achieving a respectable position among all parallel private and govt. colleges of Uttarakhand Technical University.
