St. Antony's Matriculation Higher Secondary School in srivilliputtur was founded in the year1983.It was started at 64,vazhaikulam street,Director of school Education,chennai recognized the school in 1984 .In october 24 1993 the school was shifted to Thiruvannamalai. This spacious serene place is situated at the foot of the famous Thiruvannamalai.Shri venkateswara temple and at the vicinity of the Holy Matha Temple .The first batch of 10th Std Matriculation Students appeared the public Exam in april-1996.All students passed and brought centum result.Computer Education was introduced in 1996.Computer and muilti-media computer were purchased in 1998. In 1983 the strength of th school was 24 children and 2 teachers .Today the strength is 425 children and 16 teachers.
