About Idalys Ortiz

Idalys is a Cuban judoka. At the age of 18, she became the youngest Olympic medalist in the heavyweight category, winning a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Cuban judoka Idalys Ortiz became Olympic Champion in 2012 in London. After that success she became World Champion in 2013 and 2014. In 2015 she won bronze in Astana. Idalys Ortiz had already won Olympic bronze in 2008 in Beijing.
