The Samaritan Residential Schools is managed by the Samaritan Educational Trust with quality education at the core of its mission. The Samaritan Residential Schools was officially started in 1994. The vision of the school is to offer quality education irrespective of race, creed, social standing or economic status. Headed by the founding administrator, E. A. G. Moses, the administration has successfully developed the school to be among the best in its district and state. Mr. Moses has extensive experience with schools, having started the SBOA group of schools in 1979, where more than 30,000 students study, as well as the FES Schools which are found in several places all over India.
The Samaritan Residential Schools started with less than 100 students more than a decade ago. Since then, the development of the institution, in terms of facilities and infrastructure, has been tremendous when compared to its humble beginnings. The schools can now support several hundred students on campus.Samaritan Residential Schools is comprised of the four sections of classes which follow specific curriculum developed by the school or prescribed by the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. The school uses the best available texts and educational material to prepare our children for their higher education. Text books are selected from the CBSE, ICSE and State textbooks to provide a strong foundation in English, Math and Science up to Class VIII. Class IX to XII follow the prescribed texts and curricula as provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu as per the Matriculation and State Board of Higher Secondary Education.
