Inauguration of Sandbox-IMER Incubation Center to strengthen the start-up ecosystemin Belagavi
Sandbox Startups, an incubation support wing of Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi, in association with KLS IMER has set up a full-fledged Incubation Centre Known as Sandbox-IMER Incubation Centre to support, promote and foster new start-ups in Belagavi.
The Centre was inaugurated by Sri. Naveen Jha, CEO - Deshpande Foundation and Sri. Ram Bhandare, Vice President – Karnataka Law Society on 27th July 2016.
As on date four start-ups have been incubated in different domains described as under;
1. TEKNOVATORS Solutions LLP:Developing fertilizer and seed sowing machine
2. NIRMAL Purifier: Developing low cost water bottle filter
3. GRASCYCLES: Developing Bamboo bicycles
4. MULTIPEELER: Developing fruit and vegetable peeling machine
Sandbox Startups is the living laboratory for startups. We have been helping aspiring entrepreneurs to validate their Business Ideas and launch their Business by extending our incubation facilities & mentors network at Hubballi. Now in association with KLS IMER – a NAAC ‘A’ grade premiere B-School of Karnataka which strongly believes in Entrepreneurship Development, we are extending our presence in Belagavi as well.
Incubation Center will help budding and aspiring entrepreneurs in the Belagavi region to launch their innovative Business Ideas and scale it to the next level.The Centre will provide the necessary physical and technical infrastructure, mentoring and networking support and assistance with regard to funding,marketing, sourcing and business development to the start-ups. We will also conduct some events to promote start-ups.
Pitch your Idea Belagavi – New Business Idea Presentation Competition on 27th Aug 2016.
The Sandbox-IMER Incubation Centre is launching its first major upcoming event "Pitch Your Idea Belagavi" which is scheduled on August 27th 2016, at KLS IMER, Belagavi. The event will provide budding and aspiring entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to pitch (brief presentation) their business idea and win incubation support. It is an opportunity for innovators to get incubation resources to test their ideas and realize their entrepreneurial potential.
Pitch your idea competition will begin with a pitching session by entrepreneurs in this region in front of eminent panel on 27th August 2016.
The winners of the event would be given the below mentioned support from the incubation center;
