The Progressive Education Society`s, Modern Law College, Pune is one of the premier legal educational institutes in Maharashtra situated close to the “Oxford of the East” i.e. the University of Pune. Established in 2003, Modern Law College has carved a niche for itself though it is still in its nascent stage. Permanently Affiliated to the University of Pune, and Recognised by the Bar Council of India, the College stands as one of the best law colleges in Pune. All the courses are approved by the University of Pune, which include Degree programs LL.B. (3 years) & B.S.L. LL.B (5 years.), Masters in Laws (LL.M.), Masters Programme in Labour Laws (M.L.L.) and various Diploma programs and Certificate programs. The fee structure and Syllabus for all the courses is as per the directives of the University of Pune. The academic excellence is manifested from the results of the students of Modern Law College, not only in academics but also sports and co curricular activities. The students have won laurels for the college in various state and national level competitions. The College is located in the serene locality of Ganeshkhind, near the University of Pune. Modern Law College is also accommodates several foreign students from Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, etc. with special attention to their orientation, counseling and problems faced in studies.
