Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has announced the dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2016). The exam is scheduled to be conducted in January/February 2016.

GATE 2016 will be held from January 30, 2016 to February 7, 2016

GATE is conducted every year for admissions into postgraduate programmes. The exam is conducted by IISc Bangalore with MHRD and other Government Scholarships/ Assistantships in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science, is open to those who qualify in GATE. The GATE score is also used by some PSUs for their recruitment.

Eligible candidates are required to apply online for GATE 2016.
