Mira Girls College is situated in Adarsh Nagar the heart of pink city Jaipur & is set to expand its wings & to become an asset in the field of teacher's training program. The college got its recognition from NCTE on 17th September 2008,along with it's affiliation from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. On 3rd November 2008, the first session of the college was started with a strength of 100 students allotted to it.
The dream of saint Mira brotherhood society of introducing a girls college came into existence which aimed at promoting women Education. The founder of this college was an exceptional devotee of Saint Mira, so the name of this college was given the name 'Mira girls college'.
Under the management of saint Mira Brotherhood Society the college organised Lokarpan Ceremony of Mira Girls College on Feb 15,2009 the chief guest of the function was Honourable Mr. Shanti Dhariwal (Minister of Industries law & higher education, Government of Rajasthan).
Miira bai is considered as one of the significant figures of Saint tradition of Vaishnav Bhakti Movement. She was a Rajput princess born in Kudki, a small village near Medata. Her father Ratan Singh Rathore was a warrior of Rathore clan, the son of Rav Jodha of Mandore, founder of the city of Jodhpur in 1459. Her Mother was Veer Kunwar the daughter of Sultan Singh who was Jhala Rajput. Mira was married at an early age, traditionally to prince Bhoj Raj, the eldest son of Rana Sanga of Chittor.
