Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of veterinary and Animal Science, a constituent institute of Mahatma Jyotiba Fule Vidyapeeth Samiti has been growing as a centre of excellence in providing education and training in veterinary field. The college is Recognised by Government of Rajasthan and is Approved by Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi, for 2009 -10 Batch and got affiliation with Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Science, Bikaner for awarding degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc&AH.). The College has adopted fully the minimum Standard for Veterinary Education (Five Year B.V.Sc. & A.H.-Degree Courses) prescribed by the Veterinary Council of India, with the vision to offer graduate programs in veterinary to bring the veterinary profession at par with international standards. The college has fully developed teaching departments pertaining to various fields of veterinary education. The Present intake capacity is 60 students per annum. The College is planning for doing pioneering work, in the field of veterinary Education and for imparting professional expertise to the young aspirants who will be groomed to dedicate themselves to the service of humanity.
Mahatma Jyotiba Fule College of veterinary and Animal Science has their state-of-the-art buildings with lecture halls, well furnished laboratories, library and provide excellent facilities for clinical practice. College is situated in the sprawling vast area surrounded by natural Serene Beauty along with backdrop for great educational vision.

Vision

The vision of college is to be a center of Excellence in teaching, research and extension education in the field of veterinary and Animal Science.
Produce competent and skilled human resources who are socially sensitive, skilled and responsible professionals in the field of animal heath.
Undertake region-based, need-based and basic research for improving animal health and productivity by adopting modern technology including value addition.
Provide efficient extension services at the door step of poor and marginal farmers and livestock owners and motivating them to adopt animal husbandry, poultry, and related vocations as an engine of economic growth and social empowerment.
Empower women to become, “Knowledgeable Livestock Stakeholder” giving them economic identity as majority of the activities of Animal Husbandry Practices in the hands of women.

Mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people and animal by advancing veterinary education, improving animal health and welfare, strengthening research, and enhancing environmental quality.

Our mission for human transformation is accomplished by making the students equipped with all the desired prerequisites of the veterinarian’s world in the current veterinary scenario.

To spread out the veterinary knowledge & train the youth to improve the welfare of animals/birds to balance the demand in livestock production in quantity as well as quality especially for Rajasthan.
The college is also planning to have P.G. programme in different faculties of the college. Other provisions of extension are: Seminar, symposia, workshop and exhibitions Animal Health Care programme through clinical veterinary complex, diagnostic centre and disease investigation camps.
